Track Name: Defined
Our bodies lay lifeless,
Though this is familiar as we've died a thousand times.
I stared out, and dreamt with eyes wide open,
Not realizing this terror ate me alive as dusk hit.
I'd rather see the true face of humanity,
Than sew my eyes shut follow blindly and decease.

Staring into the sun,
Your whole world distorts.
While you're blinded by ignorance,
I can still feel its warmth.

Perseverance is an uphill battle,
You fell and never got up.
I'll continue this path, the ascension.
For it's all downhill from here. x2

Staring at my message in blood,
You were far too late.
Little was known before it was time to make my escape.

Staring into the sun,
Your whole world distorts.
While you're blinded by ignorance,
I can still feel its warmth.

Perseverance is an uphill battle,
You fell and never got up.
I'll continue this path, the ascension.
For it's all downhill from here. x2

Finding, defining, refining a purpose.
Take what's mine until I rest under earth's surface.
Don't bother trying, the hounds will surely find me.
Blood, sweat, whatever's left of me.
Track Name: Rings Hollow
Kamikaze pilot,
Self-incited riot,
Couldn't keep away,
Just knew you had to try it.
I never looked away but know my hands are tied.

Sense the beast and feed it,
Bartered and retreated,
Run it through your veins until all feeling is depleted.
I never looked away but know my hands are tied.

Forgive, forget.
Relive, regret.
Restart, reset,
"In due time" you said.

It all rings so hollow,
Led down a path we will not follow,
As you lie there in your sorrow,
Thinking "surely this will end tomorrow." x2
Track Name: Lost in Solitude
Alone with my thoughts, I was lost in solitude.
Track Name: Beneath the Surface
Let's form a fortress of hoarded morbid warnings.
To those who won't forfeit a corpse or think they'll see the morning.
There's more beneath the surface than gods and flags we worship.
All odds against me, this is what gives me purpose.

You'll pray for an end,
The policy in which I operate does not bend.
Your time expends.
These severed ties we cannot amend.

At the end of the day,
Money seems so trivial to lose.
Insurmountable debts cause your life something,
For me to muse, for you to lose.

I confused the time of death,
But didn't account for the ice in his veins.
It was a warm summer's day,
I thought for sure they would melt away-
Just like the life of someone who meets
The syringe or the barrel of a gun,
It's all the same.

I lived two lives,
But now I have none.
It's now clear to me
What I should have done.
